Objective: he overall objective is to support and document the lessons learnt of good ECD practice in Indigenous Communities of the Andes.

This project will document the learnt lessons from different ECD experiences in the Andean Indigenous communities through a qualitative and in-depth research. It will involve children, parents, caretakers and institutions in finding out the best practices for delivering ECD services to young children growing up in indigenous communities. The ultimate aim is to document and disseminate good ECD practice in the Andes; encourage exchange among practitioners, academics, children, parents and staff from local institutions; and to formulate a framework for ECD programmes for indigenous children in this vast region.
