Objective: To learn from practice about children’s and youngsters’ participation and leadership in the conduction of an ECD programme in the rural context
The actual project "Sementes do Amanha" (Tomorrow’s Seeds) promotes exploration and consolidation of methodologies based on youngsters leadership and family support as a preparation for the optimisation of policy in the labour, social and health areas.Three communities will be involved Urucará, Rio do Meio e Nascença( in Rio Grande do Norte.
At the end of this planning project, the Secretaria de Saude of Arez expects to design a program of intervention based on the practice and knowledge derived from this program. The program will target children 7 to 18 aiming at the promotion of juvenile leadership in the family and the community
