Objective: to develop a training and community support programme to reduce the number of Roma children in institutional care.

Children living in institutions is still a wide-spread phenomenon in Central and Eastern Europe. In Slovakia 80 percent of institutionalised children belong to the Roma community. The project will form eight teams of trainers and professionals responsible for building a support net around potential foster families and biological families aiming to reduce the number of Roma children in institutional care.
