Social inclusion and respect for diversity
Through our Social inclusion and respect for diversity ("Diversity") programme, we aim to promote equal opportunities and skills that will help children to live in diverse societies.
The Diversity programme is two-stranded. The first strand, social inclusion, is about ensuring equal rights and access for disadvantaged children. The second, respect for diversity, aims to help children to develop the attitudes, skills, and habits that will help them to grow up in their diverse and often conflict-ridden societies and, ultimately, improve them. See the framework summary (pdf or html) for more details.
