Objective: Vikash aims to create a child-friendly environment that enables children to develop their physical, socio-emotional and intellectual abilities to position themselves more strongly within mainstream society.

Vikash has been operating since 1986 and has a strong track record of reaching disadvantaged groups such as people affected by handicaps, tribal people, landless labourers. It is primarily concerned to develop examples of good practice which big funders or government could pick up for dissemination.
