Malnutrition Reduction - Jharkhand

Objective: To demonstrate a marked reduction in malnutrition (15% in 3 years) and improvement in infant care in the East Singhbum district in Jharkhand (>90% colostrums feeding, and >70% timely feeding of complementary food), through district-wide expansion of the Dular strategy; and to support the Government of Jharkhand in a state wide roll-out of the Dular strategy based on experiences in 1 district and ongoing activities in 3 other districts in Jarkhand.
