M&E mentor East Africa

Objective:To strengthen the M&E technical and organisational capacity of BvLF partner organisations in Eastern Africa.

  • The project will put in place mechanisms for gathering, analysing, documenting and communicating the results and changes brought about by project interventions at individual partner level.
  • This process will involve working with a mentoring institution that takes responsibility for:
  • assessing the M&E needs at the different levels (community, field staff, management, etc.) within each selected partner organisation;
  • facilitating training and technical support to meet the identified needs;
  • providing on site support and coaching of partner project staff who are directly involved in M&E;
  • facilitating the development and implementation of appropriate indicators, M&E tools and systems with partner organisation;
  • evaluating and providing constant feedback in the implementation process; and reporting back regularly to partner organisations and BvLF on the whole process.

Early childhood information hub
In collaboration with the international information support centre Source, the foundation presents a knowledge and information hub on early childhood issues including young children and HIV/AIDS.
