Strengthening ECE of Young Pastoralist Children

Region: Sepeko Ward and Monduli District, Tanzania

Objective: To provide quality early childhood care and education for young pastoralist children, in Sepeko Ward and Monduli District through a collaborative commitment between families, communities and service providers.

This project is aimed at addressing the plight of young children in child headed households, suffering from direct effects of the AIDS pandemic. The project will initiate ECD care for these children by setting-up community-based mechanisms providing counselling, stimulation and improved health and nutrition.
