First two Online Outreach Papers now available

The first two papers in a new web-based series of publications are now available. The Online Outreach Papers series will allow the foundation flexibility to publish more niche and/or time-limited papers without the expense associated with printing and distribution.

An analysis of abstracts from the Toronto AIDS conference - did we deliver for children? by Lorraine Sherr and Rebecca Varrall, explores the frequency and specifics of child-focused HIV research through a detailed analysis of the abstract database of the Toronto International AIDS Conference held in 2006, to inform research and programme agendas and highlight planning strategies for future such events.

Realising the right to education in multiple contexts: The interplay of universal rights and cultural relativism  is a background paper prepared for a symposium at the International Transitions Research Conference held by the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, in April 2007. Three partner organisations present illustrations of how child rights are introduced in India, Israel and Poland, followed by commentaries from Joseph Tobin of the Arizona State University and international children’s rights consultant Gerison Lansdown.

Please note: these publications are web-based only, and cannot be ordered in printed form.
